I am currently a 5th year Ph.D. candidate in the department of sociology at THE Ohio State University. I have worked on various projects that center on immigration, educational attainment, fertility, sibling impacts, and family estrangement. I am a mixed-methods scholar, with a preference for qualitative field work.
My current research interest and dissertation proposal focuses on Mexican-origin immigrant families and their experiences of social mobility in rural and emerging immigrant destinations in Central Florida.
